For the first time in their lives 122 farmers from Yuanjiacun Village of northwest China?£¤s Shaanxi Province have just enjoyed a pleasant travel by air. Yuanjiacun was a poor village previously. These farmers never dreamed of traveling by air. As they have been becoming prosperous by operating 12 enterprises with total fixed assets worth 22 million US dollars last year, they decided to travel together to Beijing, the capital of China, to broaden their vision. Now all the families in the village are living in two- story buildings, and have refrigerators, color TV sets and motorcycles. Last year, per-capita income of the villagers hit 11,665 Yuan.
