A three-month-long ecological tourism festival is underway in Baicheng City in northeast China's Jilin Province, an important wetland area included on the international wetland protection list.
Running from June 20 to October 1, Baicheng's third ecological tourism festival offers more than 20 different tours.
Located in the west part of Jilin, Baicheng has two national nature reserves, where many rare species of birds such as red-crowned cranes, white cranes and swans can be found.
More than 50 scenic areas and 528 historical relics attract tourists from all over the world.
The largest testing center for conventional weapons in Asia is also in Baicheng.
