The third Changchun International Automobile Fair is to be staged in China's "auto city", Changchun,from July 15 to 22, the organizing committee said.
This fair is expected to be larger and more international than the previous one, said Gu Xiaoguang, deputy director of the organizing committee.
According to Gu, more world-famous auto-makers have promised to attend, such as Volkswagen, which funded the first Chinese-foreign joint car company in Changchun, capital of northeast China's Jilin Province, and Toyota, Hyundai, Citroen, Mercedes Benz, and Volvo.
The exhibition space is expected to be over 100,000 square meters, up 33 percent from the previous one, including 53,000 square meters indoors and 47,000 square meters outdoors, Gu said.
During the fair, auto shows, seminars and other activities for visitors will be staged.
