A charter flight service between Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan Province and Seoul, capital of the Republic of Korea, is scheduled to start on December 22.

Sources with the Henan Civil Aviation Administration say the service, launched by China Southern Airlines, will operate each Thursday and Sunday starting from January next year, using a Boeing 737-300.

The airliner will take off from Xinzheng Airport in Zhengzhou at 16:30, arriving at Seoul at 18:00 Among its 548 flights each week, Xinzheng Airport also handles flights by several international airlines to such foreign countries as Japan, Russia and Thailand.
