Chengdu
Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province. Among this famed historical and cultural city's are Marquis of Wu's Temple dedicated to Zhuge Liang, prime minister of Shu of Three Kingdoms Period; Thatched Cottage, where the celebrated Tang poet, Du Fu, lived during his stay in Chengdu; Qingyanggong, the best preserved memorial temple for Lao Zi, father of Taoism. Chengdu's restaurants serving Sichuan cuisine and refreshments, and teahouses hold forth the fascination of local custom.

Chongqing
Chongqing is the commercial and industrial hub of China's southwestern Sichuan Province - lying in hilly country at the Jaling and upper Yangtze Rivers confluence.
A subtropical climate makes for muggy summers and mild winters here, but throughout the year, tourists come for river cruises along the famous Three Gorges. Downtown Chongqing is magnificent, cut-through by rivers and sprawling over hills. Chongqing is also great for Sichuan cuisine.

Dali
Dali in northwest Yunnan is a famous Chinese cultural city and a national scenic zone. A rich heritage dates back to the days when the city was the capital of the kingdoms of Nanzhao and Dali. Dali is a major habitat for the ethnic Bai people, whose folkways are at once time-honoured and distinctive. The ancient city of Dali was first built during the early Ming. There is something tranquil about the streets, and one of them "Foreigners' Street", is, as the name suggests, frequented by foreign visitors shopping or having a good time in teahouses. The pagodas, the mountain and the lake are representative of the serene scenery of Dali. Dali's another attraction is the Butterfly Spring, where the congregation of thousands of butterflies in the fourth lunar month every year is indeed a feast to the eye

Dalian
The beautiful seaside city of Dalian on the southern tip of Liaodong Peninsula is a nice sightseeing, recuperating and holidaymaking destination. It is particularly suitable for convention or incentive tours. Dalian is skirted on three sides by the sea, and its long coast opens onto a myriad of islands. The landscape is fabulous, the weather pleasant, and the urban environment neat and tidy. When night falls the city takes on an enchanting look. Lijiang
Lijiang (200 km from Dali) is another famous historical and cultural city which prides itself with age-old towns, imposing mountains, and virtuous folk traditions. Major attractions include Ancient Dayan Town, Snow-capped Yulong Mountain, Hutiao Gorgen on Jingsha River, first Bend of the Yangtze, 10,000-flower Camellia Tree in Yufeng Temple, and Yuqian Park. The naxi people, with a venerated history and tradition, are marked for their unique dwelling architecture, dress and living habits. The Ancient city of Lijiang is located at Dayna, the seat of Lijiang Naxi Autonomous County and a 1.4-square-km town with an 800-year-old history and 4,000 or so Naxi families. The Snow-Capped Yulong Mountain, 15 km north of Lijiang, is a national scenic resort and the site of a natural skiing ground open in all four seasons.

Kunming
Kunming - the capital of Yunnan Province - is located on a Plateau 2,000 meters above sea level yet not far from the tropics. Kunming is a booming city with a rich history and culture. Jinan

Hangzhou
Hangzhou is one of China's seven most ancient capital cities. There is a local saying "Above there is heaven, below there is Hangzhou". The most famous attraction in Hangzhou is the West Lake - covering an area of 6 sq km - blending the most famous scenery, historical, and cultural sites, and hills and lakes as a whole. Surrounded on three sides by rolling wooden hills, Hangzhou's West Lake has captivated countless visitors for centuries. Scenic walk and cycling alongeside the lake is a leisurely experience. Harbin
Harbin is capital of Heilongjiang Province and the trading center of the northern part of northeast China. Huangshan
A major international tourist city in China, Huangshan is noted for its statuesque mountain and rich cultural heritage. Lauded as "Number 1 Mountain under Heaven", Mount Huangshan is one of 10 major scenic resorts of China. In 1990, the UNESCO put Mount Huangshan on its list of world natural and cultural heritages. The beauty of Mount Huangshan lies in its "four wonders" - pine trees with shapely foliage, rocks in a hundred and one images, an ocean of clouds (ever changing scenery) and hot springs. Eight tourist zones with 400 scenic spots have been established in the mountain. There are three cableways to carry tourists up the mountains

Nanjing
Nanjing, surrounded by hills and waters, boasts beautiful natural scenery and rich culture as an ancient capital of 6 dynasties. It's history dated back to some 2,500 years old. Nanjing is situated at the confluence of the Yangtse River and Qin Huai He River.

The scenery of Nanjing is created by "nature, high hills, deep waters and plains". Zhongshan Scenic Area comprises Zi Jin Shan (Purple Mountain), Xuanwu Lake, Ming-dynasty City Wall and Zhong Shan Ling (Dr. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum). The hills, waters, towers, woods and towns integrate into one, forming a unique scenery of immerse beauty and tranquility at peace.

Nanning
Nanning is capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Under a subtropical climate, it is a fine tourist city that is extolled as an "evergreen metropolis". This garden city has so much to offer its visitors, such as Guangxi Museum, Guangxi Ethnic Artifact Garden, and Guangxi Medical botanical Garden. Nanning's outskirts are clustered with attractions as well. Ningbo
The east Zhejiang city of Ningpo, lying on the seacoast of southeast China, is a famous city with a history. Among its cultural heritage are the Hemudu ruins dating back to the Neolithic Age some 7,000 years ago; Tianyige, the oldest library in existence in China with a collection of 80,000 valuable books; Baoguo (National Preservation) Temple, the oldest and most intact wooden structure south of the Yangtze River; and "Buddhist Kingdom of the Southeast" which encompasses such famed Buddhist (Ch'an sect included) sanctuaries as Tiantong (Heavenly Virgin Boy) Temple, Asoka Temple, Xuedou (Snow White) Temple, and Seven-Pagoda Temple

Qingdao
Qingdao is a harbour city on the Yellow Sea. It is a renowned beach resort. Numerous European-style villas and churches have turned Qingdao into a world architecture museum. Zhangqiao (Plank Pathway) and Badaguan (Eight Major Passes) are among the scenic attractions in the city. To the southeast of Qingdao is Laoshan Mountain, a national scenic Zone and major Taoist sanctuary with 10 well-preserved temples. As renowned as Qingdao's landscape is Qingdao Beer. Wuhan
Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, is situated on the Yangtze River and comprises of three closely-linked cities - Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang. Wuhan is the seventh largest city in China, the biggest inland port in the country and the third largest metropolis on the Yangtze River after Shanghai and Chongqing. Some of Wuhan's popular tourist attractions include : Guiyuan Temple, Guqin (Ancient Lute) Pavilion, Donghu Lake, Huanghe (Yellow Crane) Tower and Wuhan Changjiang River Bridge.

Tianjin
Tianjin is a direct municipality of China. Located about 137 km south-east of Beijing (1 hour and 40 minutes by car), Tianjin is Beijing's gateway to the open sea. Situated on the banks of the Haihe River and Yunhe (Grand Canal), Tianjin is a major transportation hub in northern-central China. Tianjin is well known for its 19th-century European-style buildings of the former concessions. Some of the streets are pleasant to stroll along. The modern railway station, subway line, convention center add nice touches to Tianjin.

Wuxi
Wuxi is a city in south Jiangsu Province bordered by Lake Taihu to the south and Suzhou to the east. Wuxi is a major industrial city, a "land of fish and rice", and a famous tourist city. The 2,000 sq km Lake Taihu, one of the five major freshwater lakes in China. When viewed from downtown Wuxi, the lake becomes as photogenic as a "natural painting". The boats can bring visitors on tours to Triple Isles and Turtle-Head Islet, which is actually a peninsular with the best view of the lake. Wuxi is also known for its classical gardens, and most popular of these are Jichangyuan in Xihui Park and Liyuan by Lake Taihu. Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong of Qing Dynasty had visited Jichangyuan repeatedly and heaped praises on it in calligraphic inscriptions. Wuxi is accessible through Shanghai about 128 km away.

Xiamen
The beautiful seaboard city of Xiamen in southeast China is one of the country's four earliest special economic zones under the open policy. Encompassing Xiamen Island, Gulang Island and some areas on the northern shore of Jiulong River, Xiamen attracts an increasing number of visitors with its enchanting island scenery, pleasant subtropical climate, splendid history and culture, and colorful folklore. It is the hometown of so many Chinese living overseas. Major attractions include Gulang Island, Jimei School Village, Southern Putuo Temple and Kaige Golf Club

Xian
Xian, formerly called Chang An, is an ancient capital with a long history of 3,000 years. Xian served as China's earliest capital for eleven dynasties including the Qin and the Tang dynasties. Xian was also the starting point of the renowned Silk Road, the main trade route between ancient China, central Asia and Europe.
Major attractions in Xian include Terra-Cotta Warrior and Horses (China's greatest archaeological find), Wild Goose Pagoda, Banpo Museum, Bell Tower etc.

Zhuhai
Located next to Macao in the southwest part of Pearl River Delta, Zhuhai is a nascent tourist city and one of the four major special economic zones in China. The city's 6,000-square-km sea territory is studded with 145 islands. The new Yuanmingyuan garden is a new tourist zone in Zhuhai, which is an ideal destination for convention and incentive tour. The city has developed a complete array of convention facilities with first-class services. Zhuhai International Air Expo takes place once every two years
